Job Summary
We seek to recruit an aggressive, confident, fluent, mature and creative Marketing and PR Officer to manage all our Marketing and PR strategy.
Your goal will be to cultivate a positive Hospital image.
Job Description
1. Building strong long-term value for our customer and partners including nurturing relationships.
2. Brand development Develop the hospital into a formidable brand both locally and internationally.
3. Developing and reviewing the marketing and PR strategy.
4. Preparing annual, quarterly and monthly plans.
5. Develop Account Based Marketing strategies and implementation.
6. Planning, implementing and monitoring both online and offline marketing campaigns for all products and services.
7. Email marketing.
8. Widely publicizing the Hospital and all ongoing activities.
9. Documentation as well as preparing and editing messaging for all products and services.
10. Preparing communication and educational materials including the profile, Flyers, brochure, videos, newsletter.
11. Looking out for relevant local and international events to represent the hospital from within Not for Profits, Government and Private sectors.
12. Linking with media sources and looking out for opportunities within media to showcase the hospital’s products and services.
13. Liaising with external marketing agencies
Qualifications
1. Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, and Public Relations or any related course from a recognized university.
2. Mastery of English and Kiswahili both written and spoken.
3. At least 5 years’ Experience in PR writing, digital branding & marketing, social media management.
4. Mastery of computer usage, web navigation, and social media functionality is imperative.
5. Advanced skills in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
6. Email marketing and drip emails campaigns.
7. Ability to use the CRM.
8. Content Development/Marketing.
9. Social Media Marketing.
10. Knowledge of Retargeting/Remarketing, Display, and Rich Media/Video
11. Excellent organizational skills
12. Ability to work well under pressure
