Job Description
POSITION: FISCAL ANALYST II (JOB GROUP J/ CASB 10) – 1 POST
(a) Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Collecting and collating budgetary information from various sources
for analysis;
(ii) Maintaining relevant statistics on public revenue and expenditure
figures;
(iii) Analysis of CIDP in relation to annual budgets;
(iv) Monitor budgetary cycle and ensure compliance;
(v) Carrying out commissioned Budget research on specific area of
interest;
(vi) Assisting in preparing budgetary information reports to MCAs and
relevant House Committees;
(vii) Any other relevant duty that may be assigned from time to time.
(b) Requirements
For appointment to the grade of Fiscal Analyst II, an officer must have:
(i) A Bachelor’s degree in Economics or its equivalent from a recognized
University;
(ii) Have general understanding of national and county budgetary process
and public fiscal policies.
