Job Requirements
o Be in possession of a Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
o Be registered by Engineer`s Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.
o 3 Years Post-graduation Experience in an Engineering field
o Proficiency in the relevant computer applications is a must.
o Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Job Description
o Preparation of investment programs for the Nairobi City County Road networks,
o Carrying out traffic surveys and management of traffic data,
o Collecting and collating economic, environmental and social data for road investment programmes and strategies;
o Preparation of Civil and Structural Engineering Designs of road works and structures;
o Preparation, reviewing of tender documentation for road works, structures and work plans;
o Preparing records for road assets database;
o Preparation of short, medium- and long-term road works programmes;
o Preparation of procurement plans for road works and structures,
o Assisting in supervision of contracts as well as undertaking road safety audits during road development.
o Undertaking public sensitization on protection of road reserves, implementation of road asset Management policies and undertaking annual road inventory and condition surveys;
o Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.
