ENGINEER II ROAD SAFETY (GRADE NTSA 8) – REF NTSA/05/2023/22
The office holder will be responsible to the Principal Road safety engineer and will assist
in Road Safety Audits as per road safety audit manuals, and ensuring professional
standards for road engineering design are adhered to.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting in accident data collection, mapping and analysis of accident causes;
• Identification of blackspot and mapping;
• Undertaking and participating in delivery of Road safety Inspections and Road Safety
Audits;
• Undertaking and participating in Ranking of network based on safety performance;
• Participate in the delivery of Research;
• Preparation of Inspection reports, Accident Investigation reports and other technical
reports.
Key Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Traffic Engineering or a related field from a
recognized institution;
• Proficiency in ICT; and
• Any other qualifications relevant to the Road Safety Audit function, as may be
approved by the Board of Directors.
