Job Description
The Legal Expert will lead in providing technical assistance to the legal division of the national assembly. S/he will work closely with the Legal Affairs committee and relevant staff to build their capacity for legislative reviews and drafting.
S/he will have the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of a Masters’ Degree in Law. PhD would be preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the legislative drafting process.
- Demonstrated expertise in parliamentary legislative processes.
- Prior experience working to strengthen the capacity of parliament on its legislative function.
