REGISTERED NURSE IIIJOB GROUP ‘CPSB 11’- V/NO. KCPSB/11/2021/23 ( 14 POSITIONS)
Terms of Service: 3-year contract
Remuneration: Consolidated salary of Ksh.50, 000 per month
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
i. Have at least the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade C (Plain)
ii. Have a Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse, or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse Diploma or Kenya Registered Midwifery from Kenya Medical Training College or an institution recognized in Kenya;
iii. Be registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya; and
iv. Have a Valid Practicing License from the Nursing Council of Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities
An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: -
i. Provision, supervision and planning or nursing care of patients at an outpatient department or wards in a hospital, health center or dispensary;
ii. Assessing patients’ admission needs for nursing services;
iii. Verifying and maintaining information relating to patients’ admissions;
iv. Keeping records of drugs and other supplies;
v. Guiding, supervising and counseling staff and performing routine clinical duties
