DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide adequate storage of Maintenance equipment and ensure physical/logical security of the data center
• Maintain and troubleshoot all network and computer related issues;
• Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems;
• Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users;
• Troubleshoot and repair of hardware, operating systems and applications;
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks;
• Identify security gaps and provide relevant solutions
• Test and evaluate all new technology including M&E systems e.g. database systems, websites etc.;
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment;
• Configuration of Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;
• Undertaking repairs and maintenance of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
• Drawing up hardware specifications for Information Communication Technology equipment;
• End user support for use of ICT equipment
• Must be a Kenyan Citizen
• Diploma in Information Technology
• Cisco Network Certified Network Analyst(CCNA), Certified Information System Auditor, Certified (CICT) Comptia + or A+
• At least 3 years of experience providing Information Communications Technology (ICT) and administrative support
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTMENT
Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
• Kenya Revenue Authority
• Higher Education Loans Board
• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
• Criminal Investigation Department
• Credit Reference Bureau
