DATA ENGINEER
Closing Date: March 31, 2022.
Main Responsibilities
1. Knowledge of online patching of EBS application patches
2. Experience working with WebLogic administration
3. Working knowledge on setting up environment on RAC
4. Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to oracle workflows/ integrations /ODI
5. Design and build database, schemas, and database objects
6. Working knowledge of version oracle database 11g/12c/19c
7. Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
8. Setup of disaster recovery site for production environment and monitor of the same
9. Design and implement database security schemas
10. Assist developers and end-users with database usage, query development, and tuning
11. Perform cloning of application and database instances utilizing Oracles Rapid Clone methodology
12. Good exposure on RMAN, ASM, Dataguard, Datapump Utilities.
13. Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures
14. Align architecture with business requirements
15. Data acquisition
16. Develop data set processes
17. Use programming language and tools
18. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
19. Conduct research for industry and business questions
20. Use large data sets to address business issues
21. Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
22. Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
23. Find hidden patterns using data
24. Use data to discover tasks that can be automated
25. Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics
26. Integrate new data feeds into a cloud-based data warehouse
27. Design a high performing data schema to support a dashboard report
28. Design and build a marketing database to support a client’s business needs
29. Develop data automation and monitoring scripts
30. Develop ETL scripts to perform data transformations
31. Integrate with a legacy database system to support data analysis
32. Create documentation and data dictionaries to support end-users of data systems
33. Perform business analysis and requirements gathering to support a variety of data projects
34. Define and implement web analytics

Qualifications
1. Bachelor ‘s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management Technology or any other related field.
2. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
3. Oracle EBS R12 (1ZO 238) Certified
4. Database systems like SQL and NoSQL
5. Data warehousing solutions
6. ETL tools
7. Machine learning
8. Data APIs
9. Python, Java, and Scala programming languages
10. Understanding the basics of distributed systems
11. Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Relevant Experience
1. Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Experience in Oracle EBS R12.X, installation, patching, backup/recovery, and cloning.
3. Completed minimum 5 end to end installation on R12.
4. Experience on working with EBS on cloud environment.
5. Experience in recovering application & database in case of any eventuality.
6. 3-5 years’ experience in technology/data roles
7. Experience with relational database systems (MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, Postgres, SAP HANA)
8. Advanced skills in data scripting and database development technologies (SQL, C#, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, Batch Scripting)
9. Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
10. Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Spark, RedShift, Big Query, Apache) and basic understanding of NoSQL technologies (Splunk, ELK, AWS DynamoDB)
