Terms of Service
Three year renewable contract based on performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of the Senior Inspector (Building) will entail:
i). Clerk of work for budding under construction
ii. Assisting in the planning of supervision of programs for a number of buildings:
iii. Compiling of site weekly reports and monitoring work progress
iv. Supervising on alterations/ repairs of existing buildings
v)Assisting in preparation of monthly Physical progress reports of individual building and ensure specifications and standards are adhered to during constructions
vi)Arranging for testing of materials, preparation of cost estimates and schedules for simple building on labour contracts.
Person specification
For appointment to this post, the candidate must have:-
i) Higher Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or its equivalent or relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
ii)Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized institution and
iii) Fulfilled requirements of chapter six (6) of the constitution
