Job Title: Senior Corporate Strategy Officer
Grade: NCIA 4
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
Salary Scale Min. Kshs. 170,300 p.m to Max. Kshs.224,300 p.m (Monthly Gross
Pay)
Department: Business Development
Unit: Corporate Strategy Unit
Location/Workstation Co-operative Bank House, Nairobi
Reporting Relationship
Reports to: Principal Corporate Strategy Officer
Direct Reports Corporate Strategy Officer.

Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations within the unit to ensure that policies and guidelines on corporate strategy, partnership and resource mobilization are developed within acceptable ethical and legal standards towards achieving the Centre’s Mandate
Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks
a. Ensuring proper administration and application of corporate strategy services in the
Centre.
b. Organizing, arranging, and conducting research, analysis and implementation of the
corporate strategies and actions plans.
c. Collating and comparison of emerging trends in Alternative dispute Resolutions.
d. Design and innovation of new business approaches, concept papers and project
proposals.
e. Drafting of relevant guidelines, memoranda of understanding and collaborative.
agreements for the Centers external stakeholder.
f. Supervision, guidance, and development of staff under the officer.

Qualifications
a. Bachelor’s Degree in either Law, Arbitration, Economics, Communication Studies, Business
Administration, Public Relations, or a related field from a recognized university.
b. Certificate in a senior management course from a recognized institution.
c. Certificate in computer application skills.
d. Proven knowledge and work experience in research, project development and
administration.
e. Be a member of recognized professional body in good standing.
f. Met all the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

Previous Relevant Experience
Served in the grade of Corporate Strategy Officer for a period of three (3) years, with a
minimum period of three (3) years.
or
Have relevant working experience of at least five (5) years with minimum of three (3) years in senior management position in public or private organization.
