Job Description
The Australian High Commission in Nairobi is seeking expressions of interest for a fixed term (one year, possibility for renewal) Humanitarian Program Officer position based in Nairobi, Kenya.
About the position
Working under limited direction, the Humanitarian Officer will support the program management and administration of Australia's temporary humanitarian program in East Africa.
The position is at the LE5 level with a commencing monthly base salary of KES 230,348.00.
Candidates with the following experience/skills are invited to apply:
• A minimum of 5-10 years humanitarian experience with a donor or multilateral organization (applicants who only have NGO experience will not be considered]
• Excellent analysis and written skills (these will be tested at interview stage)
• Monitoring and evaluation experience and an ability to synthesize information and draft reports
