Nutrition And Dietetics Technologist III, Job Group ‘H’- (2 Posts)
Requirements for Appointment
- Hold a Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics
from a recognized institution
- Has a registration certificate with the Kenya nutrition and dietetic Institute of Kenya
- Has an updated Practicing License from the Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Institute
- Has a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide Nutrition services in health care facilities
- Implementing nutrition programs
- Providing nutrition health education and demonstrations
- Monitoring preparations of therapeutic feeds
- Implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programs
- Conduct Nutrition assessments
- Collect and compile nutrition data
- Conduct Nutrition health education and promotion
- Provide Counseling and demonstration services to patients with specific Nutritional needs
- Prepare and monitor implementation of Maternal and child nutrition feeding program

e. Clearance Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
