Duties and responsibilities:-
i. Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following disciplines:- Radiography,
Radiography Technology or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution;
ii. Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Radiation Technology,
Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
iii. Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six
(6) weeks from a recognized institution;
iv. Registration a relevant professional body;
v. Certificate in computer application skills;
vi. Demonstrated high degree of professional competence;
vii. Administrative capability in the management of Radiography services.
Requirements and competencies for appointment:
i. Coordination and management of radiography and radiology services at the County;
ii. Overseeing implementation of radiography policies, regulations and procedures;
iii. Ensuring maintenance of radiography standards, ethics and professionalism;
iv. Managing and ensuring quality assurance in medical imaging services programs;
v. Ensuring timely procurement and maintenance of medical imaging inventory;
vi. Planning and budgeting for medical imaging services and equipment;
vii. Building capacity and managing performance of the Division;
viii. Performing any other duty assigned from time to time.
