Location: Nairobi
Job Requirement
1. Be a holder of at least a first degree in Procurement or Supplies Management from a University recognized in Kenya.
2. OR Be a holder of at least a first degree and Post Graduate diploma in Procurement or Supplies Management
3. Has a minimum of 3 years working experience in the procurement office of a public or private entity
4. Be a registered member of KISM or CIPS
5. Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
Job Description
1. Procurement: receive requisitions and specifications from users, preparation of tenders, and acquiring of goods and services
2. Storage: commissioning of procured services, issuing of goods and retiring of boarded goods
3. Control of procurement/ supplies vote
4. Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations Issuing instructions to depots and other departmental units
5. Disposal of unserviceable equipment on a recommendation
6. Performing any other duty as maybe assigned from time to time.
