GROUP ‘H’ – 3 POSTS
Duties and Responsibilities
a. Implementing nutrition programs, providing nutrition services in health care facilities
b. Conducting nutrition assessments
c. Collecting and compiling nutrition data
d. Providing nutrition health education and demonstrations, counselling of patients with
specific nutritional needs
e. Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeding programs
f. Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programs and providing
micronutrient supplementation
g. Any other relevant duty and responsibility within the County Health Department
Requirements for appointment
a. Diploma in community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics
from a recognized institution
b. Must be a Kenyan Citizen
c. Must be registered by the Kenya Institute of Nutritionists and Dieticians (KNDI)
d. Certificate in computer applications

• Must fulfil expectations of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya
• Terms of service are on Permanent and Pensionable.
