POSITION: CHAIRPERSON - Audit Committee: of The County Government of Uasin Gishu
QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements for Appointment
i) Degree from a recognized University
ii) Progressive working experience of not less than Seven (7) years
iii) Be a member of a professional body and in good standing
iv) Shall not have served or be serving as an employee, member of any committee of Uasin Gishu County for the last two years
v) Shall not have served or be serving as an employee of a business organization which has carried out any business with Uasin Gishu County in the last two years.
vi) Have a good understanding of county government operating, financial reporting or auditing
vii) Have requisite business and leadership skills
viii) Shall not be a political officer holder
ix) Be a person of integrity and meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
Duties and responsibilities
i) Give rise to confidence in the overall efficiency of the Audit Committee
ii) Ensure effective and independent audit committee.
iii) Other duties and responsibilities of Audit Committee
