REPORTING TO: HEAD OF DEPARTMENT, COMPUTER STUDIES
DEPARTMENT: COMPUTER STUDIES
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• PhD in Computer Science / Information Technology/ Informatics / Information
systems from a recognized university.
• A minimum of five (5) years teaching experience both at undergraduate and post
graduate levels, three (3) of which must be at lecturer level.
• Must have supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion
since last promotion.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) publications points since last promotion, of which at
least ten (10) should be from referred scholarly journals.
• One should show evidence of continuing research activity.
• Registered with the relevant professional body.
