Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice, strategic guidance, and problem-solving solutions to our clients. Your role will involve engaging with clients, understanding their needs, analyzing data, and delivering actionable recommendations. You will lead consulting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build strong client relationships. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Lead consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project objectives are met. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, assigning tasks and managing project workflows.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, challenges, and requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address clients’ business challenges. Work collaboratively with the team to develop innovative and practical solutions that meet client objectives.
• Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members. Encourage the exchange of ideas, lessons learned, and best practices to foster professional growth and enhance overall team performance.
• Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and other client deliverables that communicate key findings, insights, and recommendations in a compelling manner.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to Associate Consultants and project teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to leverage their expertise and enhance project outcomes. Contribute to the development and improvement of consulting methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services. Review project deliverables, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with the Firm’s standards.

Qualifications and attributes:
• CPA and / or ACCA professional qualification and membership
• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least three (5) years of experience in a similar position preferably in a professional firm
• Organized, able to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
• Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver on time and within budget.
• Excellent Interpersonal and time management skills
• Should have well rounded experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory services.
• Experience in insolvency and restructuring and public sector engagements (expenditure verifications, delivery capacity assessments etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other relevant software.
• Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice.
• Should have effective people management and conflict resolution skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
