POSITION: TABLEMAN/PLANT OPERATOR III JOB GROUP CPSB 15
Number of Posts: One (1) Post
Terms of Service: Permanent
Basic Salary Scale: As provided for by the Salaries and Remunerations Commission
Duties and Responsibilities will entail:
i. Assisting the assistant rig operator at the table
ii. Clearing the cuttings during drilling.
iii. Making way for underground water from going back the hole
iv. Loading and offloading of drill pipes during drilling and demobilization of the machine.
v. Greasing some parts of the machine, drill pipes, cleaning the machine, tightening wire
ramp
Requirements for appointment:
i. The candidate must be in possession of a craft certificate and or Grade I in pipefitting.
ii. At least Two (2) years relevant experience in a busy water drilling and installation
work shop and working with drilling machines;
iii. Ability to work under minimum supervision with a high sense of personal initiative,
keen & fast learner, good communicator, a good team player.
