Duties and responsibilities;
• Assist in ensuring implementation of Road construction works to standards
• Preparing and modification of reports, specification, plans construction schedules, environmental impact studies and design of the projects.
• Assist in preparing authorization for charge orders regarding construction revision
• Assist in implementing the county plans and strategies on road construction.
• Assist in developing standards for road designs
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Assist in monitoring construction progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications and construction safety standards.
• Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Requirements for the appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB);
• Current valid annual Practicing license from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya;
• Corporate membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
