Duties and responsibilities;
Reporting to Director Water.
Supervision and administration of staff
Liaise with other stakeholders on water and irrigation infrastructure development
Water resources conflict and resolution management
Undertake cadastral survey in the catchment areas, County installations and way leaves for
boundary establishment and resolution of boundary disputes;
Setting out engineering projects undertaken by the County;
Water projects identification, design and BOQ’S Development
Draft both longitudinal and cross sectional profiles from the field data.
Conduct geodetic survey on the County dams for dam safety monitoring.
Acquire, collect and gather geo-spatial data for updating the County GIS
Requirements for the appointment
Bachelor’s Degree in Land Survey or related field from recognized learning institution.
Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
2 years’ experience
