Qualification:
a. The Resident Engineer shall be a civil engineer with a recognized university degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; and
b. He/She should be registered/accredited by a relevant official body in any country such that the Engineer’s Board of Kenya, upon application, will be able to attest to the accreditation and grant correspondent local accreditation as a professional engineer.
General Professional Experience:
Minimum of fifteen (15) years post-registration experience.
Specific Professional Experience:
i. The Resident Engineer shall have served in a similar role on a long-term basis on at least three (3) previous completed road construction supervision assignments of similar scope where the work’s value was at least USD 50 million for each assignment
ii. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
