This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a senior officer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
• Preparing physical planning development plans;
• Undertaking feasibility studies on physical, social, economic and environmental characteristics;
• Implementing physical plans for national, regional, urban areas and cities; processing development applications; and maintain physical planning records.
• Any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate shall be required to:
• Bea Kenyan citizen;
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines; - Urban and Regional Planning, Urban
• Bea graduate member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter); and
• Have a certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
