2.0 PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide efficient, reliable delivery of parcel and messengerial duties by ensuring
optimum customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe & timely manner with
absolute confidentiality. The Rider will pick up and drop off items while adhering to
assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery
team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered
to the correct client.
3.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Ride and deliver/collect assignments as directed.
• Maintain high level of professionalism with clients
• Ensure packages are delivered in good condition.
• Maintain the motorbike in a presentable clean state.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ensure compliance to proper traffic rules governing road usage in towns.
• Ensure paramount safety of motorbike and official items at all times.
• Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the controlling
officer.
• Perform pre-start checks before commencement of any journey
• To operate assigned Motorbike in a safe and courteous manner
• To keep the assigned Motorbike(s) clean
• To recognize Motorbike maintenance needs
• To undertake ad-hoc assignment or duties assigned by management when required
• Comply with the rules of the road such as traffic lights and so on.
• Perform basic inspection of the Motorbike before traveling and ensure that its in
good condition and safe.
• Routine errands during the day will be included.
• Advise supervisor when bike is due for service.

4.0 COMPETENCIES
4.1 Academic Qualification and professional Experience
Possesses KCSE Grade D+
Possesses Valid & Clean Driving License.
Three years driving experience in a busy motor traffic environment with no accidents or
incidents.
4.4 Technical Skills, General Skills & Personal Attributes
Technical Skills
• Experience of working for corporate/company as a rider.
• Experience riding in Nairobi and ay other busy towns.
• Good geographical knowledge of Nairobi and its environs.
• Good integrity and clients handling skills.
General Skills:
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• The ability to work well under pressure.
• The ability to use GPS devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
