Engineer II - Agriculture - Job Group ‘K’ (One (1) Position) – Advert No. 02/2024/02
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700 – 52,960 p.m. (Job Group ‘K’)
Allowances as per the SRC circulars attached to the position.
Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this position a candidate must have;
i. Bachelor’s Degree in a field of Agricultural Engineering such as Soil and
Water, Mechanization/ Farm Power, Structures, Agriculture and Bio
systems Engineering, Environmental and Bio systems Engineering or any
other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
ii. Registered by Engineers Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer; and
iii. Certificate in Computer from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for degree holders. An officer at this
level will be in charge of a project where he/she will be involved in the;
i. Implementation of engineering activities; and
ii. Implementation of programmes in soil and water conservation,
mechanization extension and agro-processing.
