Job Description

Michuki Technical Training Institute BOG invites qualified, diligent and self-motivated BOG staffs in the following available:

Driving School Instructor

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include but not limited to:
• Preparing advert material for the driving school opportunities.
• Ensuring that only paid up trainees/learners are enrolled in the driving school.
• Keeping a record of all trainees/learners who have registered for any driving level/class.
• Preparing lessons that are tailored to trainees/leaners needs.
• Teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving.
• Helping trainees/learners to develop confidence in their driving skills.
• Gaining control of the vehicle during emergency situations.
• Documenting and reporting trainees/learners on progress.
• Informing trainees/learners when they are ready to take the driver's test.
• Reporting all accidents and incidences to the head of department.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to MTTI Integrated Management System based on Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015) and Information Management System(ISO/IEC27001:2003)
• Perform any other lawful duty that maybe assigned to you by the management.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
• NTSA Instructors number
• Valid Instructors license
• Minimum of 2 years work experience as a driving instructor
• Good conduct certificate
• KRA Pin, NSSF No, NHIF No
• National Identification Card
• Valid driving license and possess a clean driving record
• Possess good Communication Skills and be computer literate
• Conversant with NTSA Traffic Act and Regulations
