Job Description
Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, Proven experience of five (5) years working in a similar role, preferably in an Institution of Higher Learning, Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking protocols, and security principles, Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting software applications, Knowledge of management information systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Ability to manage learning management systems such as Moodle, Familiarity with server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure, Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues at all levels. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA/ MCSE is an added advantage.
