Roles and Responsibilities:
i. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is undertaken on regular basis;
ii. Develop and implement maintenance schedules;
iii. Provide guidance and supervision of staff under him/her;
iv. Supervise installation, servicing and maintenance of all ElectroMechanical equipment.
v. Initiate planning and budgeting for works in the Electrical and Mechanical operations and in the section;
vi. Ensure proper installation and maintenance of electromechanical infrastructure in the company;
vii. Routine inspection and servicing of water pumps and mortar;
viii. Any other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Person Specifications
i) Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) or Equivalent;
ii) Membership to relevant professional body
iii) Management and supervision skills;
iv) Water sector undertaking skills;
v) Customer care/handling skills;
vi) Communication and inter-personal relations skills;
vii) Report writing skills; and
viii) Three (3) years’ experience.
