Salary Scale: Ksh. 87,360 x 3,190 – 90,550 x 4,490 – 95,040 x 4,860 – 99,900 x 5,010 –
104,910 x 5,240 – 110,150 x 5,500 – 115,650 x 5,780 – 121,430 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the highest level in this cadre. Specific duties and responsibilities will entail;-
Developing and reviewing operational standards
Formulating water tariffs guidelines and strategies for both urban and rural water supplies
systems.
Develop and providing advice to other institution on water supply, development and
management issues.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
i. Served in the Public Service for a minimum period of twenty years (20) years,
three of which must be at Job Group ‘M’ as Chief Superintendent Water
Engineering.
ii. Higher diploma in either water supply and technology or water engineering from
recognized institution
iii. Certificate in management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from
recognized institution.
iv. Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution, and
v. Demonstrated outstanding professional competence and administrative ability as
reflected in work performance and results.
