POSITION: FISHERIES ASSISTANT II JOB GROUP CPSB 12
Number of Posts: Two (2) Posts
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: As provided for by the Salaries and Remunerations Commission
Duties and responsibilities
An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of an experienced officer.
Specific duties and responsibilities will be:
1. Participating in the provision of Fisheries Extension Services;
2. Collecting fisheries statistical data;
3. Maintaining fish farms and hatcheries; and,
4. Assisting in ensuring hygienic fish handling at fish landing sites, markets and farms.
Requirements for Appointment
1. Be a Kenyan Citizen;
2. Have certificate in any of the following fields: - Fish management, Natural resource
management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; and,
3. Certificate of Computer application skills from a recognized instituti
