Kenyaplex Institute of Technology (KPIT) is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Tutor to join our team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our students pursuing hairdressing and beauty therapy courses.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback
3. Develop and maintain course materials and resources
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
5. Provide academic and pastoral support to students
6. Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to ensure the smooth running of the courses
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in hairdressing and beauty therapy
Requirements:
1. Diploma in hairdressing and beauty therapy
2. Experience as a hairdressing and beauty therapy tutor
3. Experience in planning and delivering lessons using a range of teaching and learning methodologies
4. Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong organisational and time-management skills
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
