Job Description

Senior Administrative Officer, Job Grade KLDC 5
Duties and responsibilities
The Officer shall be responsible for carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:
(i) Carry out office administration and handling enquiries; receive and attending to
clients;
(ii) Reserve appointments and maintaining office diary;
(iii) Handle correspondences, telephone calls, office documents and equipment;
transcription; typing, processing data and reprography;
(iv) Coordinating the general administration of the respective directorate/office;
(v) Deal with protocols and travel itineraries;
(vi) Ensuring good office layout;
(vii) Operate office machines;
(viii) Plan and organize meetings, workshop/conferences and seminars;
(ix) Handle office petty cash and ensure security of office documents, records and
secretarial equipment.

Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
(i) Bachelors Degree in Business/Office Management or any other equivalent and
relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
(ii) Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution;
(iii) At least five (5) years relevant work experience;
(iv) Certificate in Public Relations or Customer Care will be an added advantage.
(v) Be proficient in computer applications; and
