SUPPORT STAFF JOB GROUP ‘D’ – TWENTY(20) POSTS
Salary scale: 14,610 x 510 – 15,120 x 550 – 15,670 x 580 – 16,250p.m
This grade is a messengerial cadre. The officer will be responsible for task assignments
from a Senior Officer who will guide him/her from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Reports to immediate supervisor for day to day work
(ii) Cleaning of office premises
(iii) Carrying out messengerial duties
(iv) Locking and opening of offices
(v) Preparing tea for office staff
(vi) Cleaning office furniture and equipment
(vii)Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements for Appointment
(i) Must have Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) Division IV or Kenya Certificate of
Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade ‘D-’ (Minus);
(ii) Relevant working experience will be an added advantage; and
(iii) Must have a certificate of good conduct from National Police Service.
