Registered Clinical Officer III, Job Group ‘H’ – (4 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities:-
- History taking
- Assessing and examining patients and clients
- Diagnosing and treating patients’ common ailments at outpatient or inpatient health
facilities
- Carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skill
- Referring patients/ clients to appropriate departments / health facilities
- Implementing Community Health care activities in liaison with other health workers
- Guiding and counsel patients /clients and staffs on health issues
- Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health
- Collecting and Compiling clinical data
Requirements for Appointment
- Hold a diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community
Health from a recognized institution.
- Have a registration certificate with the Kenya Clinical Officers’ Council.
- Have a valid practicing license
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution

d. Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
e. Clearance Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
