Job Description

HR Analyst
Reporting to the Team Lead – HR Information systems, the Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics from and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS – Oracle Fusion) and payroll (PerPay), LMS (Percipio and KCB LearningHub), management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
2. Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to HR Metrics of recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
3. Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
4. Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
5. Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
6. Facilitates implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives.
7. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
• Bachelor's degree in HR Management OR an IT related field
• Certificate /Diploma/ Higher Diploma in Post Graduate Diploma in HR General or a specific area of HR is desired.
• IT Certification (Oracle Certified Professional, ITIL, Project Management, Analytics) is desired.
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in a busy HR-IT or Data Analysis environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expert in SQL, Excel, Power BI.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS (Oracle Fusion, LMS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
• Thorough understanding of laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
