Job Summary
Ronalds LLP is looking to hire a Human Resource Advisory Team Leader who will act as an expert and head of the Human Resource Advisory department. The Human Resource Advisory Team Leader will be responsible for providing tailor- made human resource solutions to the firm’s clients.

Qualifications and Skills
1. Holder of a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, strategic management or its equivalent.
2. Must be a member of a professional body in good standing.
3. Must possess a professional qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
4. Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience with at least two years’ in a supervisory role in the professional services industry preferably within the East Africa region.

7. Highly developed communication, presentation and report writing skills.
8. Great problem solving and decision making skills.
9. Great analytical skills, creative and innovative.

Job Responsibilities
1. Provide consultancy services to the firm’s clients in the area of Human Resource Management.
2. Lead the HR advisory team in providing strategic HR Management solutions to the firm’s clients.
3. Ensure that there is adequate planning for all the assignments assigned to you before commencement.
4. Conduct sufficient research on every client’s business need, obtain the industry knowledge of the business prior to field visit and commencement of the assignment.
5. Carry out the end to end recruitment process based on clients’ needs which involves developing job descriptions, preparing job adverts, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
6. Conduct audit of the HR processes for various clients as assigned and give valuable reports with recommendations.
7. Interpret and advise clients on labour laws within the clients’ country of operations or beyond as may be required.
8. Design and review human resource policies for clients as assigned.
9. Draft and/or review employment contracts for the firm’s clients’ based on their specific requirements.
10. Offer performance management solutions to clients based on their specific needs.
11. Prepare high quality reports for all client engagements and give valuable advice to clients.
12. Ensure that timelines are agreed upon with the clients and every effort done to adhere to the workplans and set timelines.
13. Advise and give recommendations to clients regarding on workflow management systems.
14. Develop tools/ methods for analyzing and compiling data for all assignments and special HR projects.
15. Offer quality review for all work done by juniors and ensure the work is being done as per the set objectives.
16. Responsible for ensuring that the clients’ engagements assigned to you have properly been executed in accordance with the work plan and ensure that the timelines have been adhered to.
17. Participate in business development through proposal writing, expression of interests, cross selling and upselling.
18. Be in charge of client relationship management to the existing clients and ensure that those in your portfolio receive satisfactory services at all levels.
