Job Description

PHARMACIST, Job Group ‘M’ – (1 Post)
Requirements for Appointment
- Must have Served as a Pharmacist Intern for at least 1 year and been confirmed in
appointment;
- Have a certificate of Registration as a Pharmacist in Kenya;
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
- Valid practicing license

Duties and responsibilities
Provision of basic pharmaceutical services in health facilities including but not limited to:
- Dispensing of medicines and counseling patients on medicine use.
- Medicines stock control.
- Filling medicines registers and inventory management tools.
- Compounding of extemporaneous preparations.
- Medicines supply chain activities.
- Assisting in the collection and reporting of pharmaceutical related data/information.
- Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.
