Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
(i) Implementing policies, projects and programmes in relation to Micro and
Small Enterprise;
(ii) Marketing Authority programmes;
(iii)Writing proposals for funding;
(iv) Implementing programmes and projects;
(v) Providing business counselling;
(vi) Evaluating training programmes /exhibition events;
(vii) Liaising with stakeholders on program implementation;
(viii) Compiling training /exhibition reports;
(ix) Coordinating regional events and programmes;
(x) Preparing periodic and quarterly reports;
(xi) Disseminating information on MSE Fund ; and
(xii) Evaluating the implementation of projects and program relating to or
affecting MSEs.
Person specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
(i) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Entrepreneurship
,Business Management, Administration, Strategic Management, Agri-
Business, Marketing; Commerce; Enterprise Development; Human Resource
Management/Development Arts and design or any other social sciences from
a recognized institution;
(ii) Attended a Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks is an added
advantage
(iii)A minimum of four (4) years in relevant work experience;
(iv) Proficiency in computer application;
(v) Shown merit and ability as a reflected in work performance and results; and
(vi) Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
