POSTS
Duties and Responsibilities
a. Taking history, examining, diagnosing and treating patients’ common ailments at an
outpatient or inpatient health facility
b. Implementing community healthcare activities in liaison with other health workers
c. Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues
d. Sensitizing patients on preventive and promotive health
e. Carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skills
f. Collecting and compiling clinical data
g. Referring patients to appreciate health facilities
h. Respond to emergency
i. Work in flexible shifts
j. Any other relevant duty and responsibility within the County Health Department
Requirements for Appointment
a. Diploma in Clinical medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and community health
from a recognized institution
b. Must be a Kenyan citizen
c. Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers council
d. Valid practicing license
e. Certificate in computer applications skill from a recognized institution
