Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee the installation of efficient refrigeration and air handling systems for various applications.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements and provide innovative solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Perform detailed calculations, load analysis. equipment selection, and sizing for optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors. project managers to ensure seamless integration of refrigeration systems into overall building designs. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology to continuously improve system efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications will be considered a plus.
- Proven track record as an HVAC Engineer with at least 5-10 years of experience specifically focused on designing refrigeration systems. Strong knowledge of industry standards (ASHRAE), codes (NEC), and best practices pertaining to commercial/industrial refrigeration and air handling design.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as AutoCAD or Revit for system design and modeling purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues related to system performance or troubleshooting.
