The purpose of this position is to carry out teaching roles, student mentoring, research and other duties in liaison with the university’s overall goal.
Graduate Assistants (2 Positions)

2. Hospitality – Ref. No: (ZU/10/Adv/15/2023)
Duties and Responsibilities
• To teach at Diploma and Certificate level, in areas allocated by the Head of Department and reviewed from time to time by the Head of Department.
• Supervise or assist with supervision of any research studies, attachment, and teaching practice undertaken by the students.
• Participate in the development, administration, and marking of examinations and other assessments.
• To handle students’ grievances that relate to their learning needs.
• Any other duty assigned by your supervisor
Minimum qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s degree qualification from a recognized/accredited University in the relevant field plus at least three years post-qualification work experience
2. Registration for a Master’s degree will be an added advantage
3. At least (1-2) years’ post qualification teaching experience
4. Demonstrated potential for University teaching and research.
5. Commitment to high quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students
