INTERNAL AUDITOR I –

Job Group: CPSB 09
Salary as per salaries and Remuneration Commission of Kenya
Requirements for Appointment: -
For appointment to this grade an officer must have: -
(i) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Commerce (Accounting or
Finance option), Business Administration (Finance or Accounting option) from a
Recognized institution or any other relevant equivalent qualification;
Plus
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) III/Certified Public Accountants of Kenya CPA (K) or its
equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
(ii) Certificate in computer applications skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
Vouching sample transactions in audit investigation and verification;
Preparing engagement and work plans;
Recording proceedings of entry and exit meetings;
Collecting and analyzing data and statistics; and
Preparing audit working papers.
