DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
Undertaking GIS mapping services in the County;
Design and develop in house application programs and user interfaces;
Formulate data analysis procedures;
Define data verification and quality control procedures;
Manage and maintain Geo-database;
Update and maintain hardware and software;
Coordinate of GIS mapping in the County;
Development of policies for effective GIS services in the country
Requirements for appointment
Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Engineering ,GIS Engineering ,Geometrics, Survey, and
photogrammetry or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institutions
Master ‘s degree in GIS is an added Advantage
Merit and Ability as reflected in work performance and results.
