Duties and responsibilities;
Clean and sterilize laboratory glass ware, surfaces and equipment
Document and receive samples for analysis;
Prepare laboratory reagents,
Carry out chemical/ microbiological analysis on samples (food, water, waste waters and
beverages)
Extract, isolate and identify drugs, pesticides and heavy metals from biological and miscellaneous
samples;
Dispose laboratory waste.
Requirements for the appointment
Must be a Kenyan citizen.
Diploma in any of the following fields:-
Applied sciences (chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, industrial chemistry, Biology),
Food science and Technology,
medical laboratory Technology,
Civil Engineering or Biotechnology from recognized institution.
Certificate in computer Application skills from a recognized institution.
