JOB GROUP "R"
Salary Range: KES (124630-172350)
House Allowance: KES 50000
Commuter Allowance: KES16000

Job Requirement
i. Manages, implements and supervises all daily parking operations;
ii. Responds to complaints and ensures compliance with By-laws through organizing of education and communication activities with public and also participates in county initiated activities.
iii. Initiates towing activities of vehicles or equipment contravening parking management laws and regulations and ensures necessary fines and penalties are paid
iv. Maintains vehicle, computer equipment, mobile devices, uniforms and all other issued equipment assigned for management of parking services in accordance to the county asset management acts and regulations
v. Organizes, maintains, and reconciles various financial records, both manually and through automated methods;
vi. Prepares and presents parking related items for verification and approval by the county
vii. Manages claims process, limit liability and maintain overall safety in the facility;
viii. Trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates clamp attendants.
ix. Assists in setup of special event parking programs.
x. Balances accounts and assists in preparing reports, budgets and statements;
xi. Provides technical assistance and work direction to support personnel and advices the county on latest educational activities to ensure informed and involved staff.
xii. Assists in collecting, recording and depositing revenues received directorate.
xiii. Prepares special reports in connection with fiscal records as assigned or required.

Job Description
i) University Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent.
ii) Experience in management, operation and maintenance of revenue control equipment and parking lot within County setup.
iii) Knowledge of order enforcement and related laws
iv) Knowledge of ERP systems related to parking
v) Master Degree will be added advantage.
vi) Skilled in maintenance and the up keep of a directorate;
vii) Knowledge of the County's Parking enforcement by-laws.
viii) Ability to work all shifts, and in both office and field environments
ix) Ability to direct the work of others if assigned or required;
x) Ability to log information, analyze data and make informed and accurate decisions fast;
xi) Knowledge of record-keeping procedures and practices;
xii) Some knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and ordinances related to cashiering operations;
xiii) Some knowledge of personnel policies and procedures;
xiv) Knowledge and ability in the use of a calculator, computer and software applications;
xv) Ability to maintain records and to prepare accurate reports and correspondence;
xvi) Excellent written and oral communication skills;
xvii) Consistent demonstration of high level integrity and maturity
xviii) Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions;
xix) Ability to establish and maintain effective, tactful and appropriate relationships with the public, other Authorities, agencies and employees.
