DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
• Assist the Board in planning and implementing Board’s mandate;
• Assist in overseeing and supervising daily Board Human Resource operations;
• Assist in all staffing duties i.e., hiring, training evaluation etc.
• Adhere and encourage compliance with regulation and internal policies;
• Assist the Board in monitoring activities assigned to other staff
• Assist the Board in monitoring progress towards set objectives.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate shall be required to have:
• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource/Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation, Public/Business Administration or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Master’s degree in Human Resource/Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation, Public/Business Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
• Have a relevant working experience of not less than eight (8) years in Human Resource Management;
• Be a registered member with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM);
• Attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
