Vacancy - ICT Officer (ICTO/10/02/2024)
Job Purpose
Responsible for providing ICT systems and services to enable the Authority in achieving its mandate while ensuring security of systems and data for business continuity.
Job Requirements
i. Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer science, information technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
ii. Proficiency in computer applications; and,
iii. Fulfills the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Job Specifications
i. Assisting in carrying out ICT systems analysis and design to suit the Authority’s needs;
ii. Assisting in the customization and testing of ICT programs;
iii. Assisting in the development and updating of ICT application systems;
iv. Training users on ICT applications;
v. Assisting is ICT security and Database Management
vi. Systems Development and coding skills and data analytics
vii. Installation of ICT equipment and peripherals as appropriate;
viii. Assisting in the harmonization of equipment in the ICT system; and
ix. Detecting faults in ICT equipment/systems; and rectifying as appropriate.

i. Strategic thinking.

iii. Strong coding skills using moderns coding languages
iv. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
v. Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
vi. Analytical skills; and,
vii. Team player.
