Qualifications. (Education Skills and Experience)
1. Diploma in Library and Information Science (IT / ICT option) with ICT Certification in Networking, User support.
2. 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Managing the Help desk system.
2. Following -up on reported faults.
3. Quantifying the faults reported.
4. Ensuring staff mailing system is running effectively.
5. Assigning intranet and e-mail accounts to staff members.
6. Carrying out staff needs assessment.
7. Coordination of staff training on ICT.
8. Managing Centre the daily operation of the library’s automated systems at the ODeL Centre.
9. Verifying pro-forma invoices against order cards.
10. Circulating published catalogues to departments.
11. Supervising filing and updating of Library records.
12. Undertaking short loan reservations.
13. Receiving and recording journals in card indexes.
14. Assisting in keying in of data into the computer.
15. Clearing library users.
16. Undertaking registrations of new Library users.
17. Analyzing library statistics.
18. Educating Library users.
19. Preparing draft report on library use statistics.
20. Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
