Job Description

HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER – PERFORMANCE AND LEARNING
Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, the incumbent will work closely with the various business heads at the Hospital headquarters and branches to drive the performance and learning culture as aligned with the people agenda and business’ strategic direction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate end to end performance management cycle across all functions and branches while ensuring functional and individual objectives are aligned to strategic focus areas;
• Track, interpret and address performance trends while facilitating data-driven performance decisions;
• Implement the learning and development strategy and develop quarterly training calendars;
• Drive technical, functional and leadership competencies across all functions and liaise with line managers to identify and address training needs;
• Continuously review performance and learning tools, cognizant of the departmental nuances;
• Work closely with line managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale while enhancing productivity and retention;
• Continuously provide performance guidance to teams and performance coaching to line managers;
• Drive the performance culture through outcome-based interventions co-crafted with the business and in line with the envisaged transformative purpose; and
• Design Performance linkages to reward, recognition and talent development for all categories of staff.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• At least Eight (8) years’ Human Resource Management experience in similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field in recognized institution.
• Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management.
• Current and valid Membership with the Institute of Human Resources Management.

DESIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Conversance with Kenya labor laws and working knowledge HRMIS.
• Strong people management, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and encourage consensus, partnering and networking at all levels.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire staff
• Learning agility, versatility and ability to organize work load and identify priorities appropriately.
