Position: CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR(Optometry and Vision Sciences)

Requirements for appointment:
i. Diploma in Optometry and Vision Science or Bachelor’s degree in Optometry and
Vision Science Education
ii. Registered member of a relevant professional body.
iii. Two (2) years relevant working experience in Student Training Support.
iv. Those with training in Health Profession’s Education will have added advantage.

i) Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Surgery and Community Health OR Bachelor’s
degree in Clinical Medicine Surgery and Community Health.
ii) Registered member of a relevant professional body.
iii) Two (2) years relevant working experience in Student Training Support.
iv) Those with training in Health Profession’s Education will have added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
i) Clinical teaching both in the skills laboratory and clinical area setting;
ii) Examining students in clinical area;
iii) Mentoring students;
iv) Planning and organizing clinical activities both in school and clinical area;
v) Linking the clinical area school in terms of student support;
vi) Maintaining high discipline in learners while on clinical areas;
vii) Networking with other institutions for student support
